Description
PGIMER B.Sc. Nursing admission is conducted once a year on an all-India basis through an entrance examination by the institute. The B.Sc. Nursing 4-year programme is only for female candidates, while B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic is co-ed.
Eligibility: B.Sc. Nursing 4 Years
- Only female candidates.
- General category candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have passed English individually.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates require 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have passed English individually.
- Candidates appearing in 10+2 in 2026 can also apply, subject to submitting proof of passing before the entrance exam as stated in the prospectus.
Age: B.Sc. Nursing 4 Years
Not less than 17 years and not more than 35 years on 1 September admission year.
Eligibility: B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent, must have passed GNM with minimum 50% aggregate, and must be Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife from a recognised institute and registered with the respective State Nursing Council approved by INC.
Age: B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic
Not more than 45 years as on 1 September 2026. Age relaxation applies as per rules for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.

- SC/ST: Rs. 1,200 + transaction charges.
- All other categories: Rs. 1,500 + transaction charges.
- PwBD candidates are exempted from fee payment.
