Description

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) does not conduct a separate entrance exam for its B.Sc. Nursing program; admission is based entirely on your NEET UG score followed by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), and English from a recognized board.

Fee

  • General / Unreserved: Rs. 1,700.
  • General-EWS / OBC-NCL: Rs. 1,600.
  • SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: Rs. 1,000.

Age

Minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years as of December 31 of the admission year.

Exam pattern

  • Duration: 3 hours and 20 minutes (200 minutes total).
  • Total marks: 720.
  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 4 options.
  • 200 questions, candidates must attempt 180.
  • +4 for every correct answer.
  • -1 for every wrong answer.
