CRE is a common recruitment examination used by AIIMS for non-faculty Group B/C posts across participating AIIMS/recruiting institutes, depending on the cycle.

Eligibility

  • B.Sc. Nursing (4-year course) from a recognised institute/University OR B.Sc. (post-certificate) or equivalent such as B.Sc. Nursing (Post-basic) (2-year course) from a recognised institute/University.
  • Should be registered with the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.
  • Three years of experience as Staff Nurse Grade-II in a minimum 100-bedded hospital/healthcare institute.

Exam pattern

  • 100 MCQs of 400 marks with four alternatives for each question where each question will carry 4 marks.
  • 20 MCQs related to General Knowledge & Aptitude and Knowledge of Computer.
  • 80 MCQs related to the nursing subjects.
  • Question paper will be divided in 5 sections each of 18 minutes duration, where each section will contain 20 questions.
